Step 1: Consultation
Your treatment begins with a consultation, where you'll work with your provider to determine the type of filler, the amount to be used, and treatment areas.
Step 2: Cleanse & Prep
Before proceeding with the injections, your provider will gently cleanse your skin. Depending on your treatment area, a topical anesthetic may be applied.
Step 3: Hyaluronic Acid Injections
Filler is artfully injected into the selected areas to restore volume and contour your targeted areas.
Before Your Treatment
Avoid alcoholic beverages the night before your appointment.
Avoid aspirin and NSAIDs (Advil, Motrin, Aleve) for 1 week before your treatment to help reduce bruising.
After Your Treatment
Do not take buprofen (Advil) or other blood thinners.
Avoid facials and facial massages for at least 2 weeks after treatment to prevent filter migration.
Avoid laying down on your face, including the sides of your face, for 4 hours after treatment.
Results
Immediately after your treatment, you'll see results, as the treated area will likely swell. If it swells more than expected, don't worry-the swelling will go down, leaving you with the results you desire in no more than 2 weeks.
Frequency
Results last anywhere from 6-18
months, depending on your treatment area and aesthetic goals.
